"They just don't get it." The objective is clear. Why the disagreement?
"Why is my team so slow?" None of this is complicated.
You are not disagreeing. The same message simply arrived in two different shapes. It bends on the way through, the way light bends through water.
The same strategy can mean five different things by the time it reaches everyone. That is not a people problem.
The common explanations: someone wasn't listening, leadership wasn't clear, that team always does its own thing. Usually, none of that is true. The message simply arrives in a different shape depending on where you sit. It bends on the way through the organization, the way light bends passing through water.
So everyone ends up looking at the same strategy and seeing something slightly different. You conclude the others just don't get it, while they (often quietly) think the same about you.
I am hosting a webinar on exactly this: how messages distort as they travel through a company, why it happens so predictably, and what you can do about it.
This one is for everyone. If you have ever felt misunderstood at work, or wondered how everyone read the same email so differently, you will recognize a lot here.
Webinar, 7 July 2026, 20:00 CEST. Free to attend.
